Research description
- Childhood Obesity – Prevention of diabetes through changed Eating Patterns (The COPE-study)
I investigate the associations between nutrition and childhood obesity to prevent overweight and type-2-diabetes in adulthood. In a multi-component setting (Julemærkehjem) I investigate whether a high-protein diet compared with a low-protein diet more effectively will induce weight loss (a reduction in BMI-SDS) or support weight loss maintenance in children with overweight or obesity.
