• Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Coronary Atherosclerosis and Heart Failure in Patients with Diabetic Nephropathy
  Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is very frequent among patients with diabetes, where OSA itself is a solitary cardiovascular risk factor. Nonetheless the awareness of OSA is low which reflects the large number of undiagnosed cases. Early diagnosis of OSA in high-risk diabetics may therefore be considered crucial before cardiovascular disease develops. For this reason, we want to establish the association between OSA, coronary atherosclerosis and heart failure in patients with diabetic nephropathy.
