My research revolves around the physical and psychological factors that influence healthy weight development in children and adolescents.
Throughout my Ph.D., I explored the effects of dietary changes and participation in lifestyle camp (Julemærkehjem) on the physical and psychological health of children with overweight and obesity.
Looking ahead, my primary focus will be on investigating how diet, eating behavior, food preferences, and food reward contribute to the prevalence and progression of overweight/obesity, as well as exploring their effects on weight loss, body composition, and metabolism in children and adolescents.
