Research title and description

  • Patient education in Greenland: Development and feasibility testing of an intervention to patients with type 2 diabetes or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
My PhD project takes place in Greenland, where we investigate experiences and perspectives of living with type 2 diabetes or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Furthermore, we explore experiences on patient education from health care providers in order to get their perspectives on how to design the coming national patient education programme in Greenland. In the last part of my PhD project, we will develop and feasibility test a patient educative intervention that are able to support people with type 2 diabetes or COPD in their daily disease management.
