Research description
- Healthy weight development among children and adolescents in the Central Denmark Region
The project will investigate how the use of community-based health promotion and prevention program as well as existing community-based and hospital-based obesity treatment programs affect healthy weight development and well-being from preschool to entry at school and to end of primary school. Further potentially identify health indicators, demographic and socioeconomic conditions that can predict the development of obesity and comorbidities e.g. type 2 diabetes into youth and adulthood.
