Research titel and description
I investigate how community-based lifestyle interventions for children with obesity affects long term weight development, physical activity / inactivity and their quality of life. Childhood overweight and obesity is linked to stigmatization, risk of depression and development of lifestyle diseases such as type 2 diabetes later in life. Therefore, the effect of early intervention is important to prevent these complications and give these children a better life.
