Steno Diabetes Center Aarhus welcomes Pharmaceutical Companies, Biotech Industry, Start-up Companies and Academia to conduct clinical studies at Steno Trials. Patient safety, effective recruitment and high-quality data is key.

The FACS Core Facility - Steno Diabetes Center Aarhus

Steno Diabetes Center Aarhus hosts a satellite unit of Aarhus University’s FACS Core Facility. The laboratory is equipped with a state-of-the-art 5-laser Bigfoot cell sorter and a 5-laser NovoCyte Penteon flow cytometer. Highly skilled personnel trains and assists users in flow cytometry and cell sorting.

Register-based research

Cohort: Health in Central Denmark

Steno Diabetes Center Aarhus has established a cohort in the Central Denmark Region. The cohort includes persons with diabetes aged 18 to 75 years and an age, sex and municipality matched group without diabetes.

We aim to establish a research resource accessible for researchers and encourage interested researchers across discipline to use this research resource.
