Steno Diabetes Center Aarhus hosts a satellite unit of Aarhus University’s FACS Core Facility in lab A401-126. The laboratory is equipped with a state-of-the-art 5-laser Bigfoot cell sorter and a 5-laser NovoCyte Penteon flow cytometer. Highly skilled personnel trains and assists users in flow cytometry and cell sorting.

The FACS Core Facility at Aarhus University was founded in 2010. Spring 2023 a satellite unit at SDCA will provide easier access to high-end flow cytometry and cell sorting for researchers at Aarhus University Hospital and companies.

The facility will be staffed mainly Wednesdays and Thursdays, however, upon request other weekdays are possible. Once trained, the instruments may be used 24/7. For more information about the equipment, booking, staff, etc. please go to: www.facs.au.dk
