Research Description
Epidemiologist with a particular interest in pharmacoepidemiology, causal inference and statistical modelling.
My work focuses on characterising medication use patterns on a deeper level, incorporating full medication histories and trajectories and assessing how these relate to health outcomes.
This includes development and implementation of modern pharmacoepidemiological and pharmacometric tools. Furthermore, I am exploring how we can predict individuals’ responses to medications in type 2 diabetes, including how genetics influence medication response.
The goal is to identify areas in which we could do better; whether it be by prescribing more, prescribing less or prescribing more precisely.
