Inequalities in treatment and prognosis of patients with cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes:
Impact of demographic and socioeconomic inequalities
I investigate if socioeconomic status is associated with inequality in treatment and prognosis in patients with type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
Female gender is associated with slower rates of initiation with cardioprotective GLDs. Main evidence stems from RCT trials, therefore knowlegde on population basis is warranted, to elucidate inequality in treatment and prognosis.
